Project Description:
The scope of this project
Customer has agreed to
outsource the printing of bills for current and next FIVE
years the printing needs for the present load of 1.0 million
bills each month. These include both Retail and Bulk
Consumers. Other services MSCL is providing under this
project are:
Application Software Development:
MSCL developed
application software for:
a)
Retail Consumers Bills printing using
pre-printed stationary
b)
Bulk Consumers Bills printing
c)
Consumer Complaint Management. This handles
the complaints received through Complaint Management Center
established by MSCL
d)
Billing related MIS.
Establish Complaint Management Center (CMC):
This is 10 seats center
and receives complains from consumers calling from any
where in the city. For registering complains consumers use
an UAN number. The CMC system records the complaints;
divert consumer call to any one of the ten available
operators. Operators respond to the caller using Complaint
Management System.
Establish Software Development Center (SDC)
MSCL staff involved in
development of application software work at SDC hosed at
KW&SB premises at Karsaz. This Center have capacity to
house four analyst/programmers and a software development
manager.
Provide
Implementation support
MSCL provides
implementation support for application software developed by
MSCL.
Provide
Maintenance and operation support:
During the contract
period MSCL is responsible for maintenance support for
software, hard ware and network provided by MSCL. MSCL is
also responsible for operation support, change management
and disaster
recovery services.
