FROM CEO DESK
Sheikh Nisar Ahmed
(C.E.O., MSCL)
It was August 2000, when I got a call from Fauji Foundation Chairman’s office to inquire if I would be willing to help them on a project of national importance. This was the beginning of MSCL. My colleagues and I sat down to decide how to respond to this God given opportunity.
At that time, we took few decisions which became the founding principles of MSCL. We agreed that we would not be doing what everyone else is doing. We would only address opportunities where we would be able to add value of our huge (and successful) IT experience to the business of our clients. We would focus on domestic market and we shall strive constantly to improve our standards of quality and productivity.
We would always look for stimulating work for our teams to motivate them to put in their best.
I am pleased that since MSCL was established at the turn of century (year 2000), we have followed our founding principles religiously. Our pioneering efforts have helped Government to bring out a big change in citizen registration system. Our System Audit capabilities have helped our clients to improve their systems achieving reliability, availability and security.
Our consultancy services have helped our clients in implementing projects which helped them in achieving their business strategy.
We have volunteered our services to PMI’s OPM initiative. At MSCL, everyone is conscious of corporate social responsibility. I am extremely pleased that in spite of its small size, MSCL has not forgotten the down trodden segment of our society and contributed significantly to support education for poor and healthcare projects. Recently MSCL participation in a Rotary Health care project
has been well recognized in Rotary International District 3271.
Over the coming years, we expect not only to retain our current revenue growth but double our annual turnover within five year. We intend to do so by continuing to follow our strategy of sharing our business opportunities with our partners who can add value to our project performance. Meanwhile, we will continue our current policy of sharing project profit with project
teams based on value of each team members'.
During next three year, MSCL plans to double its core team and it will increase its focus on foreign projects, particularly in the Middle East and European markets. As we move forward, we will seriously consider the possibility of opening a permanent office overseas. I see bright prospects for everyone linked with MSCL the clients, employees and shareholders.
Be God with us!
